Signia has upgraded its popular ultra-slim rechargeable Signia Styletto hearing aids to provide wireless audio from smartphones and other Bluetooth devices.

Based on the company's NX technology platform, the new Signia Styletto Connect family features wireless stereo streaming of phone calls and music directly from iPhone.

These bluetooth-enabled hearing devices enable wireless streaming from other Bluetooth smartphones and TVs via Signia's StreamLine Mic and StreamLine TV accessories.

The Styletto Connect family features three price/performance levels and works with the Signia myControl remote control smartphone app. It is available in three color combinations: Black/Silver, Cosmic Blue/Rose Gold, and Snow White/Rose Gold.

On-the-go charging

CEO Eric Timm said the brand “aims to create hearing solutions that don’t just help people hear better, but also help them live life to the fullest. Our Styletto Connect delivers on this goal by offering high-tech hearing aids that combine cutting-edge style and direct streaming with on-the-go charging."

Styletto Connect comes with a new pocket-sized portable charging case that powers a full day’s worth of wearing with five hours of streaming on a single charge. A 30-minute fast-charge adds five hours of use, or three hours of streaming.

Fully loaded, the charging case delivers four days of user autonomy, free from plugs or cables. The company says the charging system is three times smaller and half the weight of other chargers with a built-in power cell.

Signia NX Performance

The ultra-slim Styletto hearing aids, which look sleeker and less obtrusive than other behind-the-ear hearing aids, attracted attention for their unique design when they were introduced in 2018. But they also deliver high performance through Signia NX platform technology.

They include Signia's Ultra HD e2e with Narrow Directionality to enhance speech understanding in noise, as well as an Own Voice Processing (OVP) feature designed to let users hear their own voices in a more natural way.

Like all Signia hearing aids, Styletto Connect comes with Signia TeleCare, the remote support and fine-tuning software that connects hearing care providers with their clients via the wearer’s myHearing smartphone app.

A WS Audiology Brand

Signia is one of the two flagship brands of the merger, completed today, between Sivantos and Widex. The combined company, named WS Audiology, said it will continue supporting both partners’ existing hearing aid brands.
